Spring/Summer Term 2026

There is a double rehearsal on July 16th, one as normal in the morning at 10:30; the other in the evening at 19:00. In the morning rehearsal we aim to go through nearly all pieces, and include the introductions, to measure timings.

We will go through Moon River and Sing in the evening rehearsal, when both Mae and the school children will join us.

Please bring your music in the folders.

Here is a beautiful rendition of our arrangement of La Vie En Rose. Please do listen to it, as it should help us in many ways: 1) it demonstrates the mood of the piece, 2) it demonstrates the “rits” in the piece, 3) it includes a pause after each of the French sections.

Dress Code will be Black/White theme, one or both colours, either trousers, skirts or dresses, with sleeved tops (i.e. no T-shirts!). Shoes – but please not sandals.

Jewellery – silver.

Calendar 2026

Standard rehearsal times are Thursday mornings, 10:30 to 12:30 at Boldre Memorial Hall, SO41 5QG.

Weekly socials are before the rehearsal, from 10:00 to 10:30.

          • 16 Standard Rehearsal, followed by Evening Rehearsal 7-9pm
          • 18 (Saturday) Summer Concert at 17:00

          16th April to 16th July (excluding 28th May, half-term)

          Fees for 13 weeks @ £6 per week = £78, due on 16th April.
